Hycom has supplied a hydraulic power unit as a drive for a single working clamp of a press. This power unit is used for an application with high pressures, which is why we have chosen to use Bieri-pumps. These pumps are suitable for pressure up to 700 bar.

The system contains a combination of the Bieri-pump type SKP with a high pressure pump of 0.68cc per rotation and a low pressure pump of 4.68cc per rotation.

At 1450 RPM this gives a yield of about 1 L/min at max 700 bar and 6.8 L/min at max 100 bar.
Obviously, the HPU is equipped with the necessary Hydac tank appendages.
