In cooperation with a West-European dredger, we developed an active visor head adjustment for a suction tube. The visor can be operated both actively and passively.

The scope of the delivery consists of a HPU, battery system, valve station, control and hydraulic cylinders. The valve station and the control are built into a small waterproof compartment, suitable to submerge with the suction tube.

This method of installation enables the nozzle of the tube to always be in the most ideal position.
This active adjustment therefore ensures a better efficiency of the dredging process.

Depending on the substrate, either the active or the passive setting ensures the best efficiency of the dredging process.
